Gena Showalter A lot of things helped me on the road to publication. Writing the story of my heart rather than writing to trend. Back then paranormal romances weren't selling very well, but that's the genre I loved so that's what I wrote. I was rejected by every publisher, but I didn't let myself stop. I just kept going. :)
