It was a combination of different life experiences I have had, some of my dreams and some imagination. The book actually started off as my own personal journal, but that was a little boring, so I added some drama and characters to spice it up. I have enough teenage drama in my day job, so I try to remain drama free, but that usually does not make for a good book. :-)
