Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jane Dougherty I was thinking of what was lacking in the opening of a section of a book I'm revising and decided it needed movement. Instead of a static scene, I had a child running. Once I'd got the scene sorted out, the kid kept on running until he'd opened a story all for himself.
