Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Brandon Hill It was a combination of ideas, actually. I think the original idea was from a race I once saw in Tenchi Muyo, in addition to my love of catgirls. To make Felyans a polymorphic species was an idea that came together after reading about the Ildiran race from Kevin J. Anderson's Saga of the Seven Suns. And of course, I was a big fan of Star Trek. Of course, now, I know, scientifically speaking that our being genetically compatible with any alien race would be practically zero, I believe my idea for the Felyans was a good way to gt around it. So I'm not just playing fast and loose with my science.
