What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Michele Kimbrough There's a lot of advice floating around out in the web-o-sphere. LOL! The biggest thing I think I can add to the plethora of advice is "be yourself." There are going to be so many times that you will either be pressured to or advised to write something that doesn't suit you. Don't do it. Write what comes from your writer-spirit, your writer's-heart. That's the only way to be authentically you. It will be your voice and uniquely you. Don't cave into the pressure to be like everybody else -- or the desire to be popular. Let it happen organically.
