Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mac Evenstar Visiting a small town that I used to live in, I walked into an antique shop. The door opened behind me, and someone walked in. I instantly had the idea, what if someone walked into an antique shop with an interesting find? What would happen if it was something very peculiar that changed the lives of those in the town?

I went back to the place we were staying and wrote the first chapter that night. Didn't know much about the book yet, but it took shape little by little.
