Just out of curiosity... What kind of schooling did you take (if any needed) that helped you to become a writer?

I studied literature during my undergraduate education, and I have a Masters Degree in creative writing, but it's absolutely not necessary. All you need to be a writer is to practice reading and writing as much as possible.
