Hi Susan; I enjoy getting lost and found in the reality of everything in your books. Thanks for sharing writing process, how you approach your work & love reading your responses to questions. When you start to write and it flows and you cannot stop.... have ever cancelled anything, that maybe you really wanted to be there or your hubby etc. and just kept on writing ?

Susan Mallery I'm more likely to cancel when the writing isn't going well. I have a schedule for how many pages I need to write each day in order to meet all of my deadlines. I write until those pages are done, no matter how long it takes. If the writing is flowing really well, then yippee! Free time. I can go to the mall or bake something special or just sit down and read a book. If the writing isn't flowing well, I stay in my office until the pages are done, even if I have to cancel out on something. The writing must come first, except in very special cases.
