Lois McMaster Bujold:
I'm a Kobo ereader user. (As an overseas librarian, I dislike Kindle's proprietary attitude, and avoid them.) I noticed only a few of your books were available in the Kobo store. I remember years ago there was an independent site that had many of your ebooks, but I'm not sure they're still working. Is there a chance that Spirit Ring and the Baen books would be available in non-Kindle epub format sometime soon?

My direct-placement e-books are all currently available in Kindle, iPad, and Nook versions. There is some doubt among the people who help me with these things that Kobo is a large enough vendor to be worthwhile; this may change in future.
The old Fictionwise got bought out and eaten by Barnes and Noble. So all those placements are long gone.
HarperCollins does seem to have my fantasy novels up in the public library Overdrive system. I don't have a clear idea about how that is working out. I would like to get my direct placement e-books out on there as well, but that is waiting on finding out more.

I just did my annual rerad of Komarr/ACC and wanted to thank you for writing. I've gotten a bunch of friends into your work and there's almost always a Vorkosigan or Pen/Des readthrough happening in my Discord server's liveblog channel. You've enriched all our lives immeasurably; thank you again. Here is a question mark to satisfy Goodreads?

I read somewhere that your father was a prominent engineer; did his work influence the engineering-technical aspects of your writing? I'm thinking of the Habitat reconfiguration in Falling Free, the bubble-car system on Komarr, the soletta disaster, and Cordelia and Ekaterin's discussion of city planning for Sergyar.

Any chance of some more Vorkosigan novels or anything on Barrayar?
