I know everyone is dying to know your eating habits, so do you eat while you are writing? What is your typical breakfast like? Are you a tea drinker or are you coffee all of the way? Lastly, are there any foods you find totally disgusting?

Why do you think there is a chasm in the minds of reviewers, the media, and readers in general between "literary" fiction and "genre" fiction (specifically sci-fi/fantasy)? I often find the most accurate depictions of humanity, its foibles, minor triumphs and resonant truths coming from well-crafted, thoughtful genre fiction authors such as yourself.

(In my opinion, it turned out great, suspenseful and thrilling without falling into any tired tropes or stereotypes.) Thanks for your time!
