I just finished Drowning Instinct. Please, please, don't tell me that is how it ends! My heart hurts just thinking about it! Please say there is still another book in the works and we get to find out what happens afterward?!?! PLEASE!!! (p.s. I know this book was written 3 years ago and probably has no chance of having another book written BUT I'm just hoping and praying for a miracle!)

First, I'm so thrilled you like the book! But...sorry to say, that's how it ends, and I have no plans for a sequel. On the other hand, I often do that because my feeling is that it doesn't matter what *I* think in terms of what happens afterward. What you think is way more important. So...what do you think happens? What do you *want* to have happen?

Hey, Lisa hope your day is going amazing. I wanted to ask why just a trilogy for Ashes? Would you ever write another book in the same world? I really wish we would have gotten a fourth book, though I can understand why you left it off at three. I just cant get enough of the series!!!! I first read it as a child/ barely a teen and now have reread it at the age of 23. Its like it got better!!
