How did you come up with idea for the Ashes trilogy?? I just read the first 2 books and I love your style of writing and could not put the books down!

Gosh, it's been a while, but as best I can recall, I wanted to kill the world in a highly believable and scientifically sound way as well as by means other than a plague ;-)

I just finished Drowning Instinct. Please, please, don't tell me that is how it ends! My heart hurts just thinking about it! Please say there is still another book in the works and we get to find out what happens afterward?!?! PLEASE!!! (p.s. I know this book was written 3 years ago and probably has no chance of having another book written BUT I'm just hoping and praying for a miracle!)
