I love all your books. I started reading from the very beginning. My question is did you always want to write and what do you do for down time with your family? Hope it's not to personal.

Hi, Lou Ann! No, that’s not too personal at all. I didn’t grow up wanting to write. I don’t think I even realized it was an option. But as soon as I tried writing fiction (when I was in college), I was hooked. It still feels like a dream come true.
During our down time, my husband and I like to watch movies or TV (NCIS-Los Angeles is a favorite). We play with our dog and cats a lot... they usually get bored before we do. We also are big Seattle Seahawks fans, so football season is fun for us. And we love trying new restaurants, especially those with a good wine list.

I am a college student who LOVES reading and although I am not studying writing, I dream of becoming a writer. Any tips or suggestions for young authors on finishing a book, or finding someone to take my work seriously? You are on of my favorite authors, and I can't wait to read the new book! :)
