Pamela asked:

Are the Junie B books good for 1st graders? Some of the reviews read were quite complimentary, but some though that Junie B books encouraged bad attitude and too much sass. Opinions? I've never read one.

Paxie Yes, I suppose some books are a bit suggestive, but some are kid (and family) friendly! And it sometimes gives all the little kids a laugh. But I recommend checking the book before you hand it to any little fella!
Angela Perez I read the series to my kindergarten class as well as my own kindergartener and they all love it. I do censor the book because I don't want to lose my job and I don't want to glorify the word and then hear them using that language in class. We do talk about if her behavior makes her respectful, responsible or safe.
Jeffrey Gao Read them but root for May at the expense of Junie Beatrice Jones.
