Oh, what a fun question, Ambar! The first thing that comes to mind is Before We Kiss. Did you read it? Sam’s parents were outrageous. His mom is a world-renowned sex expert who has no qualms whatever about asking her adult son about his sex life… and oversharing hers. In fact, here's a quote from the book:
"My parents don’t have boundaries. Not as you know them. They’ll walk down the hall to get ice. But they’ll be naked. Or they’ll have sex in the lobby.”
Believe it or not, his mom and dad are quite toned down from the first draft of the book! They really made me laugh a lot. I love Lark and Reggie, but I'm glad they're not my parents!
