What and how have you found you inspiration for so many different stories and are they from some real life experiences?

Susan Mallery Hi, Tara. Real life doesn’t tend to work well in fiction, at least not in mine. Certainly, some of my experiences have inspired books, but the resulting story is almost unrecognizable from the initial inspiration. Still, I am grateful for every moment of inspiration, and I’ve learned not to question where they come from. LOL

I love and adore your books, but the Fool's Gold series is getting too explicit for me. Is that just a trend, because other writers seem to be spicing things up too, and honestly, it ruins the book for me. I try to skim... but I have not purchased the last 2 or 3. I want to support my favorite author's by purchasing their books the first week of the release, but it has become a challenge for me.
