First I must say that I have loved all of the Spilling CID books. I'm in the US and can't wait to get my hands on The Carrier. My question is, why are you books published with different titles in US and UK?

Sophie Hannah Thank you! The Carrier is now published in US, you'll be glad to hear! Titles are sometimes different because US publishers think their readership prefer something more direct than my slightly cryptic English titles. But some, like The Carrier, are the same!

Hello, I've been reading your Culver Valley books in order and have just finished A Room Swept White. I've thoroughly enjoyed all your novels. Apart from the mystery my favourite thing about your books is the way you write and the stories all move along so fluently. I especially liked Fliss in that book and the humour surrounding her character. Part 2 to follow!! (Only allows certain number of characters)?
