Goodreads asked Jaycee Edward:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Jaycee Edward The day someone tells you your story made them "feel". I don't care what the feeling is - but to think my words made someone feel - that's priceless. I wrote a short story for a holiday blog hop about two homeless boys and I received a note from someone thanking me because she had been a homeless teen. As we corresponded back and forth and I learned more of her story, I was humbled that someone like me, who has never experienced one night of homelessness could have written something that spoke to someone who had lived it.
