Can anyone understand Joseph's old Yorkshire dialect? Perhaps the book would have been better with him dictating the story to Lockwood?

I doubt if even if Emily Bronte's time it was easy to understand. I love diverse dialects, but I'll admit to skipping Joseph's parts and reading modern translations throughout.(less)
