Readers' Most Anticipated Books for Fall 2025

I'm halfway through the book and I just don't get the hype over it. Please tell me that the 2nd half is better. Of course I am also one of the few people who was not blown away by Gone Girl. I so just want to read the end, but I promised myself I would stop doing that. lol. Did you like this book, and does the 2nd half get more exciting?

As Rachel said, the last half is a bit less of a slog...but it you're hoping for a likeable character to appear then I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. I was impressed by her ability to write a book in which the characters have not a single redeeming quality amongst them. Maybe that's the hype?(less)
