Oh, wow!!!! Hello and, hope you are well!!!! I have a question or two...Who has been your favorite character to write??? Has there been any character that was particularly difficult for you to write, that didn't speak as loudly as some others? Ps. I LOVE Nix! Can't wait for her book!!!

Kresley Cole Hi Ginelle, great questions! My favorite character to write is Nix--she speaks *very* loudly ;) Regin, who is one of my other favorite characters to write, didn't pipe up in my earliest rough draft of Dreams of a Dark Warrior. I'd described her, I had her movements, and the shell was there, but her personality wasn't as vibrant and distinctive as I needed her to be (rule of thumb for me: a heroine has to say and do things in her book that would make her utterly unqualified to lead any other book). Then she made the "radioactive alien c*$#" quip, and I thought "Game on! I f^%*@$& see you, Regin." All of her dialogue just flowed after that.

When the IAD series first started the books seemed to come fast and furious and now its one a year, I know you write other series (which I also read) but is it selfish of me to think that IAD is suffering because of the newer series?

My favorite thing about your IAD series is how empowered all the women are (especially compared to most romance novels) and I noticed that Nat mentioned being a feminist in The Professional. Do you consider yourself a feminist? (because I often describe you that way when I recommend your books to others! lol)
