I love your Bridgerton series and bought both paperback and am repurchasing and re-reading them on kindle. I just finished An Offer From A Gentleman and towards the end the name Crabtree started to be substituted for Bridgerton. This really took over in the question and answer part, and another of the series was called Romancing Mr. Crabtree instead of Mr. Bridgerton. Was this your original name for the family?

The name Crabtree was used as the last name of the couple who are the caretakers of MyCottage residence of Benedict

There’s an section on the authors website that says: “ When I was in college, I had a teaching assistant from England whose last name was Crabtree. I liked the name so much I decided to give it to the caretakers of Benedict’s cottage.”
