In her second book, she mentions Ja…moreShe alludes to the fact that this is a Cinderella story by mentioning the word ‘fairytale’ at some point early on. In her second book, she mentions Jane Austen and that story is clearly Pride and Prejudice themed. This book reminded me of the Cinderella retelling seen in Ever After, the movie with Drew Barrymore. But even with the very similar theme, it was still a well written and, at times, gut wrenching story. (less)

I love your Bridgerton series and bought both paperback and am repurchasing and re-reading them on kindle. I just finished An Offer From A Gentleman and towards the end the name Crabtree started to be substituted for Bridgerton. This really took over in the question and answer part, and another of the series was called Romancing Mr. Crabtree instead of Mr. Bridgerton. Was this your original name for the family?
