Do you base any of your characters on people you know in your life? Also, when writing a scene that is super emotional, do you get emotional right along with your characters? There were parts in Redhead that I was all leaky eyed.

Yes and no. I love, love, love to people watch. Grocery store, WDW, mall, wherever, whenever so I try and keep their banter and mannerisms true to life.

Where do you come up with these funny lines? " Is this where I shove you up against the wall and kiss you breathless then bang you on the floor?" You must be a snarky person! LOL. The Cocktail series are the best books I've read in a long time. Every book you write gets better! Keep up the good work.
