Hey Laura, Hope you're doing well.I was just wondering how you conduct most of your research for FBI procedure, police procedure, etc., and if you ever get stuck because you're just not sure what one of your characters would realistically do in a situation?

Hi Nicole, Good questions! I used to be a newspaper reporter, so I am a big fan of interviewing people to get realistic information. When I'm writing about a character, whether its an FBI agent or a forensic anthropologist or whatever, I will find someone who does that job and talk to them about what it's like. Over the years I've developed some good sources who don't mind me asking them pesky questions while I'm working on a book. Thanks for reading!
