You must have had prior interest from Hollywood in putting Bosch on the screen. What made Amazon the right home for this character?

Michael Connelly I had interest 20 years ago but the effort amounted to nothing and the books were put on a shelf. Amazon came calling and knew there were a lot of Bosch fans out there and said let’s do this.

Having read all your excellent Bosch novels I notice that he ages almost in real time as the novels progress. Will he carry on working past retirement (like Ian Rankin's Rebus) or do you see an end to his work ?
