How do you get inspired to write?

Kaye Draper Inspiration can happen any time. Sometimes its when I'm just relaxing, taking a walk, sitting by the water, or enjoying nature. Music can also be very inspiring. Other times, its when I'm struggling with some unpleasant emotion.. I just have to write to get past it. Then again, there isn't always a magic "inspiration," sometimes it's just a matter of sitting down and writing, like it's your job. Then once you get started you feel the inspiration coming on as you warm up.
