I wanted some revenge, and the neat tying up of loose ends (I doubt Astrid would have been so calm) really needled me. TFIOS, I sobbed at the end, I've yet to find someone who didn't. This did not have the same meaning, theme, or feel at all. if you want something that deals with death, but not so heavy handed, read this. But if you want something deep that really rattles you, 13 Reasons Why, or even Wherever by Gabrielle Zevin will do you.(less)
