Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Naomi Dawn Musch My most recent novel, The Deepest Sigh (Echoes of the Heart, Book One), came from considering the Old Testament story of Jacob, Rachel, and Leah. What woman, having read that story, hasn't felt sorrow at some point for Leah. My story is definitely not a retelling of that story -- for one thing, plural marriage??? No. The Deepest Sigh is a WWI era story that does, however, deal with a man working on a farm, who is caught up in a love triangle of sorts with both the farmer's daughters. Well... sort of. You can make your own comparisons to the Biblical account when you read it. Interestingly, my editor said the story reminded her of Gone With the Wind. Wow! That was a compliment I was happy to take.
