I would like to start by saying, I know it is insanely early to be asking this, but do you have any idea when Book 3 will be coming out? I could not put the first or the second book down, and I just need more of the story! Also is the any way to ensure the best chance of receiving an ARC copy of the book? (1 of 3)

Thanks for getting in touch! Book 3 is scheduled to come out in January, '16. We're doing one a year. I've finished a full draft of it, and am working on revisions now, which means that even if things get a little funky, we're looking at an early '16 release. As far as ARCs go, I wish I had a lot more of them! I don't get all that many from Tor, and I usually give them to people like my parents, wife, etc. That said, I'll email you the name of my publicist at Tor, and she might be able to hook you up with the time comes...

I especially loved the military strategies and Kettral training in particular , so I was wondering what was the historical influence, or inspiration or your personal experience to create such an elaborate and very important part of the story? This series has been a tremendous read. Instantly in my top ten list. The use of character perspective and political intrigue kept everything grounded and somewhat 'messy' (in a good way). Will be be seeing more of Valyn in the future? His development was the most tragic of the siblings for me, and I feel as though he deserves more ink. Was the prologue in Last Mortal Bond a tease?
