My 9yo daughter and I are longing for a third book in the series. We would love to see how she develops, whether she goes off to college, and the family reactions to all of that. I saw that you said you have now gone in a different direction, but is there any hope of revisiting this someday? I can so imagine a satisfyingly long arc for this strong protagonist & her progeny akin to Anne of Green Gables. Thanks!

HI Joanna, thanks for getting in touch. Glad to hear you and your daughter enjoyed them. I'm not working on another Calpurnia book at the moment but I have recently signed a contract to turn the books into a streaming series. It's early days yet but I hope it happens!
