Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Joshua Dyer For my most recent dark fantasy book, High Bluff Ransom, I pulled a lot of inspiration from historical events as well as some of my favorite films and L'Amour novels.

For my upcoming historical fiction novel, Barons, I wanted to depict a segment of our American Royalty and their rise to fortune and glory.
