(view spoiler)[I'm confused, when does bobby go into the coma, or was he always asleep? Was the entire series a dream or just the time after the war when he was with Courtney in the alternate universe? I'm assuming the battle was real, but there were hints that that too was Bobby in a coma. On the note of book ten, what happens after he dies, does his spirit go back to Solera? What happens next? It was definitely not a dream, and I don't believe he was ever in a coma. The powers of Solara are infinite, which is why Press was able to gift all the Travelers with the ability to live the "natural" lives they thought they had been born in to. Press had intended to send all the Travelers back to Solara, until Bobby pointed out how unfair that was. That changed Press' thinking, and gifted the Travelers with the lives they had fought for. Then, once they reached the end of those physical lives, they completed the journey and returned to Solara.

What was with the ending of the Pendragon series? It was ambiguous and very confusing.
