No, it's not, actually. Complete coincidence. Long ago, I heard someone mention Marky Mark and thought that would make a good name for a character so I wanted a surname with Mark in it. Hence - Markham. I later learned Marky Mark was a real person so I had to drop that bit and just go with the Markham. Apparently history is littered with famous Markhams.

I just started reading the Elizabeth Cage series as I’m fully up to date with St Mary’s and the Time Police (all of which I’ve read this year so thank you for helping me get a long long way toward my reading goal!). My question is are the universes all connected? Obviously they’re both set in Rushford, but I wonder whether in your mind the characters are connected, albeit in different times?
