Rainbow Rowell Hi! He's working at a ranch in Colorado, and on his way home to Nebraska to see Cath at Christmas.

I think Levi would like to own his own ranch, but that's difficult to do if you can't afford the land and the start-up costs. I imagined that he'd gone to Colorado for work.
