Hi Katelyn! For some reason, I didn't see this six months ago - oops! I don't usually find myself in writing slumps. I have contracts (and written proposals) for my next three novels - so I have writing material for the next three years. I'm very much an outliner/plotter, so I've already figured out what is going to happen and when. So if I sit down to write and get that "slump" feeling, I review my notes for the upcoming chapter and read the previous few chapters so I can get a running start. However, I've learned if that slump feeling persists, it may be because there's something wrong in my outline - a big-picture problem with pacing, perhaps.

Hello Sarah!! First, do you plan out your plot entirely before beginning to write, and if so, do you find that as you are writing your plot stays along the lines you had planned, or does it develop in some unexpected ways as you write? I LOVE your books and have read all of your stand alones. When Twilight Breaks and Until Leaves Fall In Paris are my absolute favorites! :)
