I don't have a set amount of hours to write a day like some authors. Instead, if I have writer's block, I usually edit other parts of my novel, do some research for upcoming chapters and let the block pass. It usually does. Of course, this can take days (sometimes weeks) but then when I next get a burst of inspiration, I write my heart out.
