Goodreads asked Roxanna Rose:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Roxanna Rose I don't get "writer's block." Occasionally, I will have what I call a "creative intermission." If I reach a point in my current work in progress where I just don't know what happens next then I will take a "creative intermission." It could be working on the rough draft of another story, or material for my website, or even writing something for a future podcast. The point is that I just keep writing. I don't let my "brain fart" stop the creative flow, I just shift it to another project. Usually, as I am working on the my "intermission" project the answer to "what happens next" will come to me.
