What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Mara Moody I dreamed of writing for as long as I can remember, unfortunately I didn't actually start my first novel until my mid thirties, so my biggest advice is just to get started, you don't need to know everything about publishing or querying, you just have to start getting words down on the page. There are so many amazing writing resources and communities online. Also, attend local author events where you live, often you'll find a lot of writers in attendance at them and the speakers at these events usually discuss the craft of writing. Be curious, be humble, and work through the self doubt!
