In the Temeraire books, you touch on theological and philosophical questions; and you bring up the RIGHT questions, and refer to the kinds of answers that would actually be proposed by theologians and philosophers. (I have studied and taught philosophy and theology.) Have you studied these topics personally, or did you ask others who were well informed to give you ideas? (Either way, great job!)

Well, thank you, I'm glad they pass muster with an expert! I haven't studied those particular fields in great depth directly, but I'm interested in them as aspects of history, and if you read enough primary historical sources and European lit, you almost can't help picking up a lot of theology and philosophy of the day, as it's so central to life and politics. Donne is one of my favorite writers, and he's a practically a theological education in himself.

How many books will be in the series? I'm guessing that the next book will probably have the graduation in it, so it's possible it could only be a duology, but maybe it only goes until midterms?? Or the third book takes place outside the school? I hope there's more books, I loved the first one sooo much!!❤️❤️

Hi, I noticed that the beautiful black and white editions of the Temeraire books are disappearing from the market.. I was wondering wether they will be renewed? It's would be a real shame if they disappeared, the look made the books even more special. A great book deserves a beautiful cover! =)
