Goodreads asked Anthony Harrington:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Anthony Harrington Just write. I look back on some horrible things I have written, or good ideas executed poorly and I think of them as failures. But at least I can say that I wrote.

In the day and age of self-publishing, you can get your work into print and into the hands of people who want to read what you write. Don't do it for the money though, that will only lead to disappointment. Do it because you love to tell stories and if one or two people find enjoyment from reading what you write, then consider it a success.
