Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Theresa Howes The idea for THE FRENCH AFFAIR was inspired by the research I did for my first novel, THE SECRETS WE KEEP. I learned so much about the brave endeavours of the women who risked their lives during the German occupation of France during World War Two, that I wanted to explore their stories further. Although my work is entirely fictional, I wanted to pay tribute to those who fought so bravely for the freedoms we enjoy today.
