I have no idea. If I waited for inspiration I probably wouldn't write. In my opinion, you write, and then the inspiration appears. Of course, there are exceptions, where the inspiration comes from a person, an overheard conversation, a piece of music, etc - but, unless writing is just a hobby, you can't wait for those times. It has to be approached in a more workmanlike way.
