Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Leandro Thomas Gonzales I was intrigued by the Hopi legend of the Great Migration. Their ancestors would remain in their homeland until the sun would start to spin. This event meant that it was time, once again, for them to pack up and follow the spinning sun to their new homeland (similar to the way Moses and his people followed the 'cloud' out of Egypt). To me, this legend could very well be the answer to the age-old mystery: “Why did these ancient people abandon their most amazingly beautiful and majestic villages, never to return?”
