I very rarely get writer's block. I tend to think of most of mine as hurdles because I can usually think of what I want the action to be, but I sit too long trying to think of the perfect word or words to use. When I get a true block, I stop writing and walk away for a little while. I'll watch a television program, play with my cat, or do a little house cleaning. When I go back to writing an hour or so later, it seems the right idea pops into my head and away I go.
