No. I do often get ideas and inspirations from people I know. And sometimes people I don’t know, maybe who I’ve just seen walking down the street or riding the city transit, inspire an idea for a book or a character. All of my characters are fictional, not biographical. But the things that they experience are things that real people have to deal with in the real world, every day.
