How do you get inspired to write?

E.S. Hoover I stood on the archaeological grounds of an ancient Roman settlement called Ulpiana just outside of Gracanica Kosovo. Standing on those ruins, imagining the people who lived there, worked there, loved and lost there...that was my inspiration to finally write.
Now I get so overwhelmed with a story in my head that I can't sleep, it distracts me when I'm awake and the only way to get it out of my mind is to put it on paper. I love the process, I love to create, I love to see where the next story will take me.
