Was the "love story" about Patch and Grace? Or Patch and Saint? It seemed like Patch had to find Grace and make sure she was okay. Once that happened, his priorities seemed to shift to Saint. Am I reading this wrong?

Against all odds, she ended up loving him for the rest of her life, he fathered her child, & they stayed close into adulthood. As teenagers, Patch, Saint, & Grace became interconnected by trauma & obsession, but that's not the same as love. (less)
