How do you choose who to write with? I see such a variety of co-authors and subgenres.

J.N. Chaney I pick cowriters based on their writing and the types of books they have experience with. I generally have an idea for a book that I want to do and will actively seek out someone who has written something that fits the story I want to tell.

I wonder why you chose to "censor" profanity in the Ruins series. I'm listening to book 2, having finished book 1. Every time I hear "spick" I cringe. Were you aiming for the juvenile audience? Surely not. Anyway, although it's a distraction, I love the series and will continue to the end. BTW, your other series with Christopher, Resonant Son, is an absolute blast! I look forward to the next book!
