Hi. Ms. Song. I loved the book as both a former high school competitive swimmer and woman of color. I outright sobbed at the scene with her parents in the hospital. This book was very loving and showed a tender depth to sapphic relationships that onlookers don’t get to see in my opinion as a cis woman. My question is : Do you feel comfortable with sharing the gender or chosen gender of S? It racked my brain!
